Personal Information Protection Policy
As a 100% foreign-invested company to assume the role of local subsidiary of Asahi Mutual Life Insurance Company headquartered in Japan, we place the utmost importance on the trust of our customers.
We will adhere to the following principles in our commitment to protect the personal information of our customers that we are entrusted with. In addition, to ensure proper protection of personal information, we will review and continually improve this policy as necessary.
(1) Personal Information Collected
We collect and process customer information including personal identification numbers, addresses, names, dates of birth, gender, health condition, email addresses, bank account information, phone numbers, and occupation, as necessary for the following purposes of use.
Please rest assured that health status and private life recorded in medical records, excluding information on blood type is sensitive personal data and such sensitive personal data is to be processed with a higher and stricter degree of care than is used when handling other personal data.
(2) Puprposes of Using Personal Information
We will use personal information as necessary for business purposes within the scope of the following objectives.
- Introduce various insurance products (including products of which information you do not expressly request) to meet with customer needs (the product introduction shall be conducted via phone call, email, or meeting, in the form of verbal or in writing, with the frequency is at least once for a specific insurance products)
- Continue, maintain, and manage insurance contracts of our customers
- Support the payment of insurance claims and benefits
- For market research, development and research of products and services (including communication with you for such research)
With respect to each processing purpose, our use of specific personal data collected shall be as follows:

(3) Information Collection
In acquiring information, we will do through proper methods in
light of related laws and regulations.
We primarily obtain personal information from customers
through application forms, contracts, and questionnaires.
Additionally, there may be instances where we collect
information through the internet or postcards during the
implementation of web marketing, sales campaigns and the like.
Personal data of customers will be input by our authorized staff of responsible department into our internal information technology system, and, along with the personal data collected automatically, processed electronically in our information technology system. After being collected and classified, our authorized staff will be assigned with the data of yours for carrying out the work relevant to the purposes as detailed in Section (2) above.

Other than the aforesaid entities, we may share personal information acquired or provided through various transactions and inquiries with (a) third-party vendors or outsourcers (e.g., our IT vendors are able to access it when they are operating our IT systems, which includes our webpage), (b) our business partners in future (including purchasers who buys our webpage; insurance companies, telemarketing companies and other entities with whom we have a "Cooperation Agreement" under the common policy) (i) for achieving the purposes mentioned in Section 2 of this policy, (ii) when required for the performance of our services provided to you, or (iii) with another legal basis exists, such as consent as permitted by the data protection regulations. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot assure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us via online forms, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems.
(6) Provision of Data to Third Parties
We may use data to customize and improve your user experience. We will endeavor to prevent your data from being accessed by third parties unless:
- Otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy;
- You consent to share the data
- Pursuant to judicial or governmental subpoenas, warrants, or orders as prescribed by the law.
We may also use email and postage addresses to conduct surveys (such as service change notices, announcements about promotions, or other social and humanitarian actions). We maintain a "No Spam" policy and will not share, sell, or disclose your email to third parties without your consent.
If you agree to receive information about third-party programs and services, you may receive this information via email or postage from these sponsors.
We are committed not to sell your personal information in any cases, unless the law specified otherwise; not to exchange, or disclose your personal information to any third parties for purposes not mentioned above.
(7) Disclosure, Correction or Other Processing of Information
When a customer requests disclosure, correction, suspension of use, deletion, notification of purpose of use, or any other related request concerning our retained personal data, we will respond to the request promptly after confirming the individual's identity, in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations.
(8) Customer Requests Regarding Personal Information
If you wish to make any claim or have any questions about this privacy statement, the practices of our webpage, or your dealings with our webpage, or our processing of your personal data, you can contact us via email. Information that you provide through email inquiries, such as your email address, is only used to respond to your inquiry in the ordinary course of business and is never shared with third parties.

Our process of dealing with claim/feedback of customer is as follows:
- Step 1: The customer submits a feedback or complaint to us via contact information as indicated right above.
- Step 2: Upon receiving the feedback or complaint, head of the responsible department will decide the necessity of investigation, method and measures our authorized department or staff will verify the customer’s identity and, if necessary, request the customer to provide information or documents to clarify the contents of the feedback or complaint.
- Step 3: After completing this process, head of the responsible department shall contact, directly or through recipient of the feedback or complaint, the customer, without delay, with the results of investigations and confirmation of facts. If the customer’s feedback or compliant is anonymous, he or she shall not be contacted.
(9) Revision of our Privacy Policy
We may revise the terms of this Privacy Policy to match actual conditions. We will notify about significant changes by placing a notice on our webpage or by sending an email to the address you have provided, and which is placed in your user settings.
(10) Rights and obligations of customers
You have rights of the data subject as prescribed in the applicable law of Vietnam, including:
- Right to be aware;
- Right to give consent;
- Right to access the personal data;
- Right to withdraw the privacy consent;
- Right to delete the personal data;
- Right to restrict the processing;
- Right to be provided with the personal data;
- Right to object to the processing of the personal data;
- Right to file a complaint or lawsuit
You may submit a feedback or complaint to us in case of arising
problems or requests regarding the processing of your data in
accordance with Section 8 above.
Separately, you may file
a lawsuit against us regarding any violation on the processing
of your data in accordance with the applicable laws.

You have the obligations of the data subject as prescribed in the applicable laws, including:
- Protect your own personal data; request relevant organizations and individuals to protect your personal data;
- Respect and protect others’ personal data;
- Fully and accurately provide your personal data when you consent to the processing;

- Comply with the applicable laws and prevent violations against the applicable laws.
(11) Processing Period
We will start processing personal data of customer from the date we receive customer’s consent, or upon which we have a legal basis for data processing until we achieve the purposes for which it has been processed.
